OMG

This is ridiculous - look how long it has been since I've posted. Well I'm not even going to bother catching up!
So we start with a new year...2011
Tom is back to school Monday - big grade 2er
Ab is off to frighten pre prep...be prepared
and Milla is about to cause havoc at home
Me...well I stumbled but I've recollected and ready to set the year on fire

it would appear I've missed a month, my poor neglected blog.....
well actually not much happened, started with a toy sale (my fave time of year), had a birthday at Australia Zoo and our school fete

Time is going by too fast...think this blog should be renamed "Milla" - I'm about to put heaps of pics on of her - she's too cute.
We saw Disney On Ice - was great, kids enjoyed and behaved!!

I went up to school to see what disruptive Tom has been up to this semester. Received his report and much to my surprise his best subject is music! Yay I'm getting a rock star!!

Most importantly this month my new nephew was born - Pierce Samuel. Oh he's cute and NO I'm not clucky...that could have something to do with the fact that we are going thru teething with Milla - aghhhh - say no more!

Milla is 5 months and so keen when we eat that I thought I'd road test some solids.... oh dear, she loves it...no spitting out.

Mother's Day

I asked my darling family to take me to breakfast and then the markets for mother's day...they obliged! We had a beautiful breaky at an Italian cafe, where the kids were intrigued with our Peru waitress and asked alot of questions. We then tried out the new BrisStyle markets @ Hamilton. I liked and once they are up and running they should be good. I've been inspired and decided to open my own stall....stay tuned....paper art.

Firstly I worked out how to make my blog pretty and wasted alot of time fiddling

My family all decided to meet at Montville for a picnic - great idea until it rained :(....we still managed to enjoy and ate lots of yummy food. Oh my - my nephew made an amazing choc cake with white choc icing!!

Birthday time.....

My baby boy is six.... I just look at him in amazement....he has survived that long!!! No seriously he's a sweet kid and after reading with his class I've realised he isn't near as naughty as I thought. Its getting harder to choose gifts now.... we had wii and DS games. I could even become hooked on Mario Kart. I don't believe in parties every year but I do feel the need to celebrate...this year we chose Putt Putt and he was allowed to invite a friend. So happened he picked our neighbour...who we all love so both families went along for a good laugh. It was a beautiful sunny day and we had Brisbane city as our back drop.After a LONG drawn out 18 holes we had a yummy lunch at the cafe. I had to make 28 chocolate cupcakes with 100's and 1000's for his class and then a chocolate cake with mini m&m's and more 100 and 1000's for the family :)
